Sheerness Golf Club is a relaxed club with an emphasis on enjoyment from the 1st to the 19th hole. We do ask visitors to respect our rules and standard golfing etiquette to ensure it is a visit that is an enjoyable and memorable one.
In the Clubhouse lounge the dress code is informal with the only restrictions being golf shoes, soiled golf attire, waterproof clothing and hats. Tidy jeans and trainers are acceptable. Please do not be offended if you are asked to move to the Stud Bar if you are considered inappropriately dressed.
On the course, general golfing attire is expected to be worn at all times including golf shoes.
Jeans, trainers, football shirts, hooded tops, vests and cargo shorts are specifically not permitted. If in doubt, please ask in the Pro Shop.
Slow play decreases the enjoyment of every other player on the course, please do all you possibly can to avoid it; pick up where you can't score and keep up with the group in front.
